Alana Carter Impresses at Donington in Radicals
Friday, April 5, 2024
“The weather forecast for Easter Monday was not great with qualifying taking place in the pouring rain, however I secured P9 on the grid for the first race.
By the time we started Race 1, the rain had not let up, so most of the race was classified wet and I spent most of the time avoiding crashes as I worked my way up to 3rd place. As I was closing in on 2nd, the two cars in front of me made contact with each other resulting in me spinning into the gravel trying to avoid them.
In Race 2 I came back with a vengeance, avoiding a massive crash at the green flag and worked my way up through the field into a comfortable P4 finish in class.
I’m very very pleased with how my Radical debut went and I’m feeling confident that I’ll be a front row contender quite often this season.”
